Faith and the Beloved by Kochery C. Shibu is a Thriller Fiction that focuses on two parallel plotlines loaded with violence, Lust, violation, rape, love, and betrayal.
The story of greed and lust is at the heart of this book.
A story of vengeance is at its core.
A story of faith and a will to protect your loved ones screams from its heart.

Faith and Beloved has elements of love, lust, family, betrayal and a cold-blooded saga of revenge, This is a book that will take up on you slowly and when it does you won’t be able to get out of it.
Read on to know more about this riveting book and why you should give it a try.
It follows two parallel stories. The one is about Naithy and Alice and the other of - Arun and Prem.
The first starts with the murder scene, a scene where Alice Cherokil (whose mother in Coma) murders her stepfather Tony D’Souza, sets her apartment on fire
and is now very smartly running away from place to place changing her attire now and then.
And the second one revolves around two brothers, Arun and Prem. Things go awry when the police kill Arun under mysterious circumstances, which leaves Prem infuriated and ardent for a revenge.
From there on, these two characters have their paths intersected, leading to a compelling climax. The idea of this story was a great one - Two different stories combined to make one crime thriller. The way the author connected the dots and created edge of the seat movements are simply mind blowing.
Along with these 4 main characters, the book focuses on the individual lives of the many characters it includes in the story. Each chapter introduces a new character and gives a thorough check of its background. The female characters are illustrated to be strong and independent and Alice is one of my favorites.
The book has almost all the elements which a thriller must have, and you won't be disappointed by the elements. Though I would agree, there was some unnecessary information in the book like the details were unnecessary at some places. The book demands a round of editing to get rid of unnecessary details and typographical errors too. Being a Thriller/Mystery fan I enjoyed the book, for me, the climax of the book was palpable and predictable, which I neither expected nor liked. Also, there are some question left unanswered.
I cherished the fact that the author chose to include some lessons in every part where something immoral or unscrupulous happens - Karma played an important role in this story, which I loved the most.
Recommended for people looking for an engrossing mystery with a series of murders, sexual fantasies and deceptions.
If a story with too many characters is not your cup of tea. Then you might end up forgetting their names and relations or forget the character existed.
This book is strictly for the 18+ age group. This book is a short read, but I don’t think that it is for beginners because it has too many characters and a twisted plotline.
